Dan Powell, MBA - Vice President, Business Development
Dan’s professional career began in 1999. He joined MTI in 2008. Dan’s primary responsibilities are business development, marketing, public relations, client relationships, and client prospecting, as well as providing strategic business and marketing planning and research for MTI. His additional responsibilities include writing and submitting of all proposals and presentations, MTI’s new website content and updates, company brochure and newsletter marketing materials, and other marketing related activities. Dan currently represents MTI in several Chicago-area and statewide public/private sector organizations.
Before joining MTI in 2008, Dan had 10 years of business development, business management, sales, and marketing experience and has been heavily involved in real estate, land development, and construction. In that short span, he has compiled an impressive list of accomplishments, including 2 international President’s Circle awards.
Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois, and has recently completed graduate school with a Masters in Business Administration.
