<div class="mceTemp">Hoffman Estates, Illinois, July 5, 2009 – MTI Construction Services, LLC recently completed a brand new 22,000 square foot fire station for the Village of Hoffman Estates.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The new facility is located at 5775 Beacon Point Drive, just north of Shoe Factory road and south of the I-90 Tollway.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>The project was constructed and managed by MTI Construction Services, LLC of Elgin and designed by SRBL Architects, Ltd. of Deerfield.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Originally, the project was estimated to cost the Village $7.4 million; however, the project was completed on schedule and under budget for a final cost of $7.0 million.</div>

The new facility features four drive-through apparatus bays, a state-of-the-art kitchen and work-out room, as well as a lower-level emergency management conference room.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>At the project’s conception, the village had a goal for the facility achieving a LEED® Silver status through the U.S. Green Building Council.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Instead, the new fire station is seeking a LEED® Gold certification.</span> </div>

<p>MTI Announces New LEED Accredited Professionals</p>
<p>Elgin, IL - May 1, 2009- MTI Construction Services, LLC is pleased to announce that 2 additional members of its project management team have become LEED Accredited Professionals (AP), giving MTI a total of 3 LEEP AP&#8217;s.  Ken Lattanzi and Pat Wood were the most recent of MTI&#8217;s team to become accredited.  With 3 LEED Accredited Professionals, MTI continues to move forward as a progressive construction firm dedicated to providing knowledge and expertise as leaders in green, sustainable building design and construction methods.</p>
<p>As required by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED AP&#8217;s are expected to have a thorough understanding of green building practices, and must possess the following knowledge: building industry knowledge and tenure in green building; familiarity with documentation process for LEED projects; knowledge of LEED credit intents, requirements, submittals, technologies and strategies within your discipline; practical experience working with multiple design disciplines; understanding of life-cycle costs and benefits of LEED; and familiarity with LEED resources and processes.</p>

<div><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Palatino Linotype'; mso-ansi-language: EN;">The building is the first village hall in the state of Illinois to be designed to meet specifications required to apply for LEED Gold certification.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </span>The Leadership in Energy and Environment Design Green Building Rating System is a national program for building construction through the U.S. Green Building Council.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes">  </span>The 2-story complex includes an underground parking garage for village and police squad vehicles, energy-efficient lighting and HVAC systems, and a green LiveRoof[1] which provides better roof water absorption and reduces the amount of storm water runoff, as well as providing many other environmental and aesthetical benefits.</span></span></span></span></div>

<p>Elgin, Illinois, March 4, 2009 - Brian Ahmer, assistant project manager of MTI Construction Services, LLC in Elgin, has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accreditation for New Construction.  Brian becomes MTI&#8217;s first LEED Accredited Professional.  &#8220;This is a great achievement for Brian and our company and allows MTI to continue expanding our knowledge and expertise in providing green building initiatives and sustainable construction for our clients&#8221;, said the company&#8217;s president, Andy Jones.  According to the U.S. Green Building Council, the LEED Professional Accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process.  LEED Accredited Professionals (LEED APs) demonstrate a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles of the LEED Rating System.</p>
