MTI’s roots begin with the inception of Wm. McLennan & Co. in 1912. This family-owned and operated construction firm experienced tremendous growth through the 1950s and 1960s, prompting and expansion into real estate and property management services. In 1968, John Thebault joined the organization, by then known as McLennan General Construction Co. In 1981, Mr. Thebault and Robert G. McLennan (4th generation) separated from the real estate arm and focused on design and construction management as McLennan & Thebault Inc. (MTI). On January 1, 1994, the company became MTI Construction Services Inc. as a better reflection of our services and abilities, and evolved into a limited liability company on January 1, 1997. While the name of the company has changed, our focus remains on providing exceptional service to all of our clients.
